Sanhata - Dark Side of Bright

The Album is Surround Sound Friendly.

Dark Side of Bright by Sanhata is an Album with a unique and distinctive blend of psychedelic music, for anytime of the day or night, with a fusion of genres. It is produced with an on-the-fly Live Improvisation approach to sound design.

Sanhata plays the Theremin in majority of the tracks within this album along with other musical instruments, synthesizers and a Midi Keyboard for Improvisation of certain Musical Instruments but played on keys.

Major Influences can be heard from genres such as Avant-garde, Ambient, Dark Ambient, Industrial, Psychedelic Progressive Rock, Retro Synth Pop, Orchestral, Psychedelic Ambient, Experimental Electronica, Cinematic Soundscapes and Ethnic Fusion.

The Album was produced at one go with each track written specifically for this release. There was also a Sound to Visual and Art experiment conducted where digital art was created for each track based on the feelings generated by them. All these were then combined and super imposed to create the artwork for the CD Top Design. Individual pieces of art created can be found on facebook through the personal profile of Swaroop Guhathakurta AKA Sanhata.
